solid stay near city center
great locationexcellent coffeefresh juicemany options
the hotel is well-located. it's close to santa catarina chapel and mercado do bolhao, a short walk to the riverfront. many dining options are available, fitting different budgets. i also appreciated the breakfast it had sausage, eggs, and fresh juice. the coffee machine provided excellent coffee.
the room i stayed in had a very small window! it could not be opened, supposedly for safety reasons.

The hotel has elevators. A bonus . the breakfast area seemed adequately sized to accommodate many guests, with long tables and several smaller ones. also, the reception area always had staff available to assist with inquiries and requests.

The location is superb, right in the shopping street. the staff members were mostly nice. i especially liked the cleaning staff. They organized my daughter's stuffed animals, it was a sweet touch. metro stops are nearby.

Housekeeping did not service the room . I had to request fresh towels myself, inconvenient. the breakfast selection lacked variety. The scrambled eggs seemed dry, and the bacon looked burnt. It was disappointing.

The location was perfect near the city center. It made exploring simple. the room, a standard double room, was notably clean and i really appreciated that. hotel staff were quite cute. Their service was very efficient.
The scrambled eggs at breakfast seemed dry. That wasn't the best.

i liked the hotel location. i could walk to most attractions. breakfast had fresh fruit, bread, and croissants, good continental style. the staff seemed helpful and friendly, and that mattered a lot.
the room had a very little window and did not open, made the room feel a bit stuffy.
